Interesting stat mentioned by NRA Dep. General Counsel Stefan Tahmassebi just now on www.nranews.com – have not heard this before – if I heard correctly, armed citizens "kill" four times as many felons in self-defense as do police, and this stat only accounts for justifiable homicides determined as a result of prosecution.  Not counted are the many cases not prosecuted.

Of course, DGU’s do not always result in fatality and it is estimated that 80% are mere brandishings, harmless but effective.
