I attended Orange County Republican Party central committee meeting tonight at which a resolution passed 42-14 advocating shall-issue carry permits, and "opposing" Sheriff Hutchens' CCW policy.

Stronger "no confidence" language passed unanimously by the subcommittee was rejected by the central committee.

The machinations of the leadership to water down the resolution were disappointing and it's no wonder it's taken this long for the GOP to find its voice for shall-issue at the state level.
