NRA magazines hit mailboxes recently with "?" rather than endorsement for Meg Whitman as Governor, but the nrapvf.org site appears to have given Whitman a slightly higher rating (C+) than Brown (D).  In other races, where NRA has occasionally refused to support pro-life candidates, NRA has claimed to consider only Second Amendment issues, yet in this race NRA seems to be edging in favor of pro-abortion/pro-porn/anti-gun Whitman, over Brown who, though a Democrat, has substantially aided the Second Amendment cause in recent years, and of two very bad choices is the preferred of many gun rights activists.
