Gunowner Control Bills “Major Threat” in California

AB 144, which would ban open carry, passed the Assembly Appropriations Committee, thanks to 12 Dems, including one who admitted the bill was unconstitutional. (As someone wrote on Facebook, "What would our Founders do?")

SB 798, which would require painting air and BB guns as if they are toys, though they are not toys, passed the Senate Public Safety Committee.  (I use airsoft replicas as a firearms trainer.  See http://GUNLAW.PRO )

SB 124 (ammunition ban) and AB 809 (long gun registration) are suspended in Appropriations but may be resurrected this month.
