World Examiner Endorses Rick Santorum

One day before the critically important Pennsylvania primary, World Examiner endorses Rick Santorum for President of the United States, though Santorum is not currently a candidate due to having suspended his campaign.

World Examiner makes this endorsement for the following reasons:

  • Though he suspended his campaign, even during suspension Rick Santorum can still continue to raise funds, keep his delegates, acquire more delegates, and even get back into the race.
  • You, as a conservative, can vote for Santorum, the Faith/Family/Freedom candidate, with zero guilt and zero negative consequence as the only alternative is Mitt Romney, who is definitely not a conservative and has done everything to divide and attack conservatives in this race.
  • If Santorum gains enough delegates, there will be a brokered, or open, convention in which Santorum may ultimately win the nomination.  Romney is too close to Obama, on the wrong side of every major issue in this election.  Santorum is the only realistic alternative who is demonstrably conservative.
  • In addition to the possibility of Santorum winning the nomination, getting more delegates for Rick will at least give him more leverage over party platform and in setting rules to prevent the sort of hegemony of the establishment we experienced this year.
  • Nineteen states have not voted yet, 1050 delegates remain.
  • After tomorrow’s primary in several states, including his home state of Pennsylvania, the landscape looks much better for a winning streak by Santorum.  A decent showing in Pennsylvania will renew enthusiasm in the campaign.
  • We can do this, and there is no reason not to try!

So get out and vote, and get your neighbors to vote for Santorum as well!  We can still save this Republic.

  1. Thank you for your endorsement and your explanation. I hope it will inspire the Rick Santorum supporters to dare to vote for Rick.

  2. Thank you for endorsing RICK SANTORUM for president. I believe everyone needs to vote for their candidate of choice. I will not let the GOP establishment tell me who the nominee should be. This is America and I have the right to vote for whom I choose. I will be voting for RICK SANTORUM here in Oregon. PLEASE LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD.

  3. Let your voices be heard! We the people are the ones that choose our nominee and our president not money. I hope that all the remaining states continue to vote for Rick.

  4. Rick has my vote in Texas next month. All of you with primaries tomorrow, vote Rick and give him some momentum coming into my primary. If Conservatives Unite, we can Stop Romney!

  5. If Conservatives Unite, we can Stop Romney! Don’t believe the media and GOP lies. He has not secured the delegates he needs and half the country has yet to vote. Rick get’s my vote in Texas. Game On!

  6. A vote for Rick will send a conservative message to the GOP establishment.
Rick Santorum is still on the ballot and has not endorsed anyone, nor has he released his delegates. He will bring them to the convention and continue to be our voice for conservative principles when building the Republican platform.

  7. THANK YOU World Examiner! Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, and Yes on every bullet point! I absolutely could not more wholeheartly agree! 60% of primary voters have voiced their choice with their vote for NotMitt. Santorum has won 11 diverse states and won more total counties than Myth Romney. “So far,” my state of LA has been the high water mark of the Santorum campaign, where he earned 49% of the vote in a 22% lead over the “Inevitable” candidate. I’m excited about a PA surprise on Tuesday, with more to come in May! Geaux Rick! Game Still On!
